New Chapter Gin 2(43% Alc.)

New Chapter 2 follows our first Chapter. Painstakingly distilled in our 200 year old copper pot still using fresh fruit, our signature grape spirit base and 13 botanicals, including two regionally sourced Junipers combined with U.S. Food & Drug Administration approved Buchu. It is a more contemporary styled Gin that is slightly less juniper forward than Chapter 1. Ruby grapefruit dances on the pallet with fresh lime adding to the aromatics. Almonds do something really special to this Gin. Absolutely nothing is added post-distillation other than some filtered water from the famous Franschoek mountain aquifer to get it to the 43% alcohol level. Another difficult gin to make as we add plenty of fresh fruit and juice before distillation. Each batch takes a year of planning.
